Today, while I was examining a six month old infant, his mother casually told me that he had a bad yeast infection last week. But, not to worry, because she cured it by putting spider webs in his diaper. Not the spider, she assured me (because that would be crazy!), just the webs. When I told my attending about this mother's natural remedies, the attending replied, "I always thought she was a witch."
Still chugging away at my final graduate project, but I had to interrupt my diligent work (fairly diligent anyway XP) with another quickie!
See, I was listening to Christmas carols, (because I OMG LOVE!!! Christmas carols,) and I heard one song that I always thought was beautiful, but with all the wedding thoughts in the back of my mind lately, it dawned on me that it would be beautiful song to walk down the aisle to for a winter wedding. (Or any time of year I guess, but it is a Christmas song)
Which just shows how distracted I am by my coursework, because the song is a *slight* variation of Canon in D! Doh! An obvious choice for wedding music, but nevertheless, humor me and let me continue :)

Whether I had just the mp3 and my computer or a lovely pianist and string quartet, *swoon*, I would cut out the part with the children (they're cute, but it's just not appropriate :) ,) and be left with the piano melody and the heart-stopping beautiful violin part!
See I. Love. String Instruments. To me they are the most beautiful sounding instruments, and I can't get enough of them! Once I'm done with all this classes crap I hope to start lessons again and re-learn how to play the violin!
Since this is a variation of Canon in D, sure, it's on the more traditional side, but it has lovely feel to it, less classical performance, more...uplifting.
Violins just make my heart sing I guess :) So it would be more than fitting for such a crazy-elated moment.
Now imagine the song starts playing, and you're patiently waiting to make your entrance. But you want to walk during the violins, so you wait. Then nice and slow, you start making your way down the aisle, grinning from ear-to-ear because you're surrounded by your most favorite things, the love of your life, all your closest friends and family, and heavenly music! And at the end of the aisle, you meet your sweetheart, which makes you not mind that the glorious sounds stop, because your ceremony is about to begin.
This will be the first of a series of beats I'll make on camera.
I havn't included every instrument used in this video, as there where too many to fit on screen all at once.

After photographing their engagement and wedding, I am quite convinced that Cami and Ronnie have something very special. To call it true love would be an understatement! This was my first time being a wedding photographer in Corona and I will be honest it was not what I expected. The mountains and scenery are something else over at the Eagle Glen Golf Course. In fact, that is why Cami chose it. She wanted beautiful wedding photographs with bright colors.
All day Ronnie was so excited to see and marry Cami! Like the best man said in the speech, Ronnie constantly talks about how pretty Cami is inside and out. I had a great time at their wedding and what a beautiful day it was. The ceremony took place on some lush green grass under the blue sky. It was gorgeous. After the ceremony, the Eagle Glen coordinator Jared took us around on the golf carts for some photos. This was excellent service, that I dont see very often. I highly recommend Eagle Glen for having your wedding. Jared didn't hassle us to follow a timeline and was very open to what the couple wanted. So thanks to Jared and Eagle Glen for everything!
The DJ was hilarious and did an excellent job. My favorite part of the night was when he asked the fifth grader what he was doing in the crowd of single guys getting ready to catch the garter.He replied “I want to catch it”. “Catch what” replied the DJ. “Umm the thong” replied the little kid. And the whole place went crazy busting up laughing! I thought it was so funny. And of course the DJ explained what it actually was and that if he caught the garter he would have to drop out of school and get a job to support his new wife! The DJ also got everyone on the dance floor for a group photo, I love that. And I didn't even ask him too. I highly recommend Fred from Sound Garden Productions.
Everyone wants to be a wedding photographer these days, mostly because of the money, cool equipment, the fame. Just kidding about that last one! But seriously for me, the best part about it is the people and relationships you get from it! As I have said, your wedding photographs are priceless, so once you build that bond of trust with your clients you’ve become more than just friends. Adam and Mallory’s wedding at the Grand Tradition was very special to me, as we have been family-friends for about 10 years. Every detail of their wedding at The Grand Tradition was absolutely beautiful. The wedding flowers, cake, martini luge, duds, dresses, colors, everything it was all so stylish! The whole evening at The Grand Tradition went very smoothly (thanks to Megan and the Grand Tradition crew). Everyone had such a great time celebrating Adam and Mallory’s love, evident from the constant smiles, laughing, hugs and kisses.

The grounds at the Grand Tradition were amazing and perfect for my style of wedding photography. Waterfalls, ponds, exotic plants, and curving walkways are all great features for elegant yet natural wedding photography.
Before the wedding I had to pick up a rental lens from Calumet. On my way I realized I had left my freshly ironed shirt hanging up back home… dangit! Since I always give myself an extra hour, I had time to stop by a store and find a new shirt, but not enough time to trek back home. I tried Men’s Wearhouse and I was glad I did, they were quick, understanding, and very nice. In no time I was walking out of there with a nice long-sleeve black shirt that wasn’t wrinkly. Men's Wearhouse also supplied the tuxedos, in short the guys looked dapper!
