I'm Sarah and I want a champagne wedding for a beer wedding budget! However I feel that I couldn't name the blog "I Want A Champagne Wedding" without people expecting me to have a winery/champagne theme, which isn't want I want to accomplish here.
I was inspired to start this blog first and foremost by A $10000 Wedding, where her fun and addicting personality really kept me wanting to read the next post...so much so I spent most of that week reading the entire blog! After just reading the first few posts I thought "Woo hoo! I'm not crazy!!!" I was not the only non-engaged hopeful to poke around the internet, (when the bf isn't looking), to do some serious wedding research, lol.
Fortunately for normal life, and possibly unfortunate for wedding planning, my mother raised me to be a frugal little spender, so I'm determined that when I eventually do get married, I will not spend a fortune if I don't have to. It is just one day after all. The goal for this blog was originally $10k like my inspiration blog, but it only took one wedding budget spreadsheet to completely blow that budget out of the water! In fact I was having the worst trouble just keeping my budget below $18K! D:
So now, I have a challenge: Try to get the wedding budget lowered, at the very least, to a somewhat non-impressive (to me), $15K
Future challenge: Try to get that budget even lower, possibly to the $12K range
Also this blog is basically a channel for me, for now and hopefully for later when I do get engaged, *crosses fingers*, and for all my many wedding thoughts and ideas that have been bouncing around in my head :)

The Slideshow One of the creative options for showcasing engagement photographs is with a slideshow. The bride and groom get to customize thier slideshow by selecting their favorite photographs and love song. The final product includes a DVD with full menu and a movie file for an iPhone, computer, and facebook (see sample below). The DVD is often used at the rehearsal dinner or even for the guests to view during cocktail hour at the wedding. The opportunities are endless. Of course this product is also available for wedding photographs, and is quite nice since the dvd menu can organize the photographs into "Getting Ready," "The Ceremony," and "The Reception."
The Shoot This sample features Brad and Julie's, great idea of having their engagement photos taken at the beautiful Temecula Vineyard known as The Villa De Amore Estate. Its a private vineyard in Temecula that is absolutely gorgeous. The place is a temecula wedding photographer's dream, hundreds of great backgrounds and the artistic features of the vineyard are endless. They include rows of grape vines, statues, sculptures, fountains, roses, archways... I could go on and on! Bottom line is that this engagement photography shoot in Temecula was a blast and I am very excited about their upcoming wedding this summer. As a Temecula Wedding Photographer I love opportunities to shoot special events in my own community. Temecula Wedding Winery Photography is something that I am hoping I get to do a lot more in the future. So stay tuned, this summer I will have Brad and Julie's Wedding showcased here as well as my portfolio as evidence of how beautiful these events are!

Okay, since I fell in love with yesterday's wedding photo, I have tried to find the perfect pair of bright purple shoes for me and my wedding party...
And realized holy crap, cute purple wedding shoes are hard to find!
Most purple shoes either:
Have a really high heel Look hideous to me Are not the right shade of purple Etc.
Another bride on WeddingBee had this issue too in 2008, (after reading some of her posts, I found that she loves purple too...hmmm I can feel an immense amount of blog reading coming on...) and I will post it for your enjoyment here!
I am happy to report that she does end up finding a lovely, affordable, and practical pair of shoes!
I have found a style or two that I liked, but either have been discontinued or only in a couple sizes...

I know that don't have that many shoes as some people, but I tend to more often go for quality than quantity when it comes to shoes! :) I like to save up my money for shoes that I really want, rather than buy cheap shoes (not that there is anything wrong with them!)
..but I love all my shoes nonetheless, and my shoe collection will continue to grow..hehe! :)

Pas a pas, anem creant sinèrgiesi vertebrant els blocaires de la comarca. Voldriem que es sumés voluntaris per engegar jornades del proper 9 de maig, amb la col.laboració d´altres punts de suport, depenent de la implicació podem fer extensiva les noves tecnologies a un nombre major de persones, del que es tracta és d´alfabetitzar, ja que no podem obviar que gairebé la meitat de la població no usen les eines que ofereix internet. També amb el teu ajut desinteressat/da pot ésser possible.A titol individual i perquè no entitats o institucions que vulguin promoure les noves tecnologies i tinguin un espai amb accés públic per fer-ho possible. Ja aquest dissabte va tenir lloc la presentació de la Berguedàsfera, com recull la fotografia adjunta, amb imatge de la icona, obra del ninotaire i blocaire Jaume Capdevila(KAP), en presència dels blocaires Quirze Grifell i Moisès Rial.
Al vespre va tenir lloc primera presa de contacte fisica amb nucli de blocaires de la comarca, intercanviant coneixements i aprovant impulsar jornades, amb idea inicial que tindran lloc el proper 9 de maig amb col.laboració de la Xarxa de Telecentres del conjunt del Berguedà,(Berga,Cal Pons(Puig-reig), Guardiola de Berguedà) com a proposta pionera que facilitarà l alfabetització de persones amb les tecnologies de la informació i comunicació (TIC), amb " APRÈN A CREAR EL TEU BLOC AMB LA BERGUEDÀSFERA", podent-se ampliar a d´altres subcentres i punts d´accés públic d´internet a la comarca, usant eines d´interelació i comentaris, com els blocs creats i existents, el Twitter i el Facebook ja en funcionament de la Berguedàsfera.
